I caved in and bought the recent Peony TSV as they seemed to be really good value, especially with the free P&P. I understand they are direct dispatch but, a week later, the order is still showing as "in process". Is this normal for Peony orders? No mention was made on air that they take any longer than usual to receive.

It is normal in my experience, Peony stuff is always a bit weird with delivery. Sometimes it can still say in process for days or even weeks after you receive the item, for some bizarre reason. A lot of the time the stuff does take ages to turn up, as the "direct dispatch" actually seems to take a fair bit longer, wth? But the odd one turns up in the normal amount of time for Q, sometimes even faster. It's very erratic, so I wouldn't worry that anything's gone awry.

I think they're dispatched from Ruckley (or whatever it's called) rather than the QVC warehouse. It's often, from my experience, a 10 - 14 day delivery from the date of the order. Also the Bank holiday will have probably added an extra day to the proceedings.

I've just checked my account and the TSV is showing as dispatched today.

Mine arrived this morning, a couple of hours after the email notification of dispatch! They're beautiful...

Are Peony flaaars from Q cheaper than if you buy them in the Dreaded High St? I am sure I saw them in a dept store somewhere but was in a rush so did not investigate.

I received the QVC email saying despatched early am and the Royal Mail van man knocked with the box around midday. I didn't think they would be that quick. Love them though. Very, very good value.

Hope yours arrive soon, Moth, and you will be as pleased as I am with my first Peony Flaaaaaaaaaahs purchase.

I got the dispatch email yesterday but they weren't delivered today. Hopefully they haven't got mislaid en route and will be delivered on Monday (when I'm back at work after the half term break, so that's typical.)

If they're being delivered by the courier she will leave them in the 'safe place,' but if the Post Office are delivering them then that'll be more time wasted going to the depot to collect the box.
