I had a Panasonic recorder arrive today, not as posh as the one above. I was somewhat taken aback to see a "Made in Slovakia" stamp!

I suppose it's no different to our numerous "Made in China" products, just seems odd on a Far Eastern brand.

Looks like the QVC price and TSV price has slightly fallen since SCW first posted. But still cheaper than Amazon and John Lewis. One good review on Amazon; do any of our ST technophiles think this is a good deal worth going for?
