Pampering Day with free P+P - Well Guess What?

My friend won a day's pampering a few years ago (and by that I mean about 15 years ago). It was in a large photo studio in Edinburgh, like Andy said, the day starts with a glass of fizz (cheap plonk). It's a long day by the time you get your hair done, make up and photographer goes through what clothes you've brought with you and what would look good in the photos. He/she takes loads of pictures which are then shown later on a projector screen for you to ooohhh and aaaahhhh at them.

THEN comes the big sell and the price for the pictures are extortionate! My friend won a free photo but they did the big sell for her to buy an album (which she did and it was around the £300 back then!) Guess where that album is now? Up in my friend's loft cause she hates the pictures and would never in a million years have them up on her walls etc.

The pics and styling look awful: why pay £20 to be made to look like an extra from Secret Diary of a Call Girl?

Just the present for Mum!

I agree, the pics do look awful and tacky. My idea of hell would be one of these pamper days :puke:
