Overpriced screenwash

Just saw that horrid little Fred Talbot doppelganger touting some overpriced screenwash. £12.50 for 4l. Ridiculous price. Go into Asda and get a bottle of Bluecol (protects to -36c so can be diluted in UK) or oven Asda's own brand which protects to -5c. These products are FRACTION of the price of the QVC products.

What screenwash do you use?

We're still working our way through the Screen Wash lake accumulated in my Dad's garage. It seems that up to his death in 1990 he bought a bottle (or 6) whenever it was on offer every Spring! Even with 2 cars it took years to make any impression on the hoard. We still have a life-time supply of cable ties (various sizes) but we did donate to a charity shop the boxes and boxes of radio valves.

Don't know who I get my "It'll come in" approach to hoarding from!

I use screen wash from Screwfix, comes in 10ltr bottles and is a concentrate. good down to -10

At a local garage you can get 5 litres for £5.99. Keeps my windscreen clean

We have the 5ltr Screwfix wash.My son works there and drops off a bottle when it gets low.It lasts for ages and works ok.

They are selling overpriced products. I bought from my local garage for less than half a price quoted by them.
