OPI guest is leaving

Watching the OPI show and apparently Siobhan, the OPI guest is moving onto pastures new. I didn't catch where. They are asking people to tweet in to wish her well etc which people are doing. Honestly anyone would think it was the queen that was leaving the way they are carrying on. I don't get it, I personally am relieved she is going because I have never been able to warm to her. Wonder what the next brand ambassador will be like. She is waiting in the wings to come on apparently. Let's wait + see!!

OPI is owned by Coty and Lisa is a Commercial Director with Coty..........so maybe Julie is just changing role too.

I agree. Whilst we obviously realise they are all only there to sell to us, having brand ambassadors with multiple hats undermines their expertise and affiliation with any of the brands they work with.

Totally agree, Minx in Space, but they're a darn sight cheaper which really sums up Q's ethos

Who pays for the guests? I always assumed the brand would be responsible for supplying the guest or would pay for one of people who represents various companies like Abi.

Yes it is the brands who are responsible for supplying them.

The amount of brands Abi represents ... they must think she is good, or maybe she is just cheap, She would never sell me anything as I run for the off button as soon as I see,hear her.

Julie and her sister Lisa worked with their Mum Lena who did own (or managed) OPI uk but it was sold a couple of years ago, to Coty as mentioned on another post.
