It'll always be Oil of Ulay to me brissles. Oh, and Cif will always be Jif as well.![]()
And we get American names for colours, because the polyester fits all sizes comes with embellishments style comes from the USA. My favourite is khaki, which we associate with good manly soldiers, being their name for beige/mud shades. And they pronounce it 'caci', which is very near the French for sh*t.
And I have heard in the past at least one American guest refer to tush as a fanny.
Don't get me started on "Tushy!"
