I also hate all these Americanisms. I know it's fundamentally an American channel, and most of their inventory are American products, but when a guest starts using ounces and talking about saving dollars here there and everywhere it just seems a bit rude. Like they can't even be bothered to remember they're not on American TV - or they can remember but think it's beneath them to adapt their sales patter to the country in which it is being broadcast.

Mind you, I have heard someone saying their "pants fully covering their fanny", so that was something.
 
I simply fail to see how Tush can have anything to do with one's bum ! although the American meaning of bum is a tramp or ne'er-do-well (lovely old fashioned word that), so I suppose Tush is better than their use of Ass ! still don't like it though

One word I don't 'get' is the use of "pants" (other than knickers, heavy dog breathing and trousers), as in "it pants", any explanations ?

Or even worse pant (singular)
