I was really tempted by this, the yellow particularly. However, having received another small Peony arrangement a few months ago which didn't look very realistic, I just had a look at the picture on zoom and notice the leaves on this OTO are again "raggy" so you can really see they are a thin fabric. Even if they are not actually fraying, which is the main problem with some Peony flaaaaahrs, I just think to look real, petals need to have a smoother edge.

Did you see that the OTOs are all on the QVC page? They are under "Top Finds", just in case: http://www.qvcuk.com/content/todays-offers.html

They also crop up on the app and stay there for days, often including the one online but often ones that ahve already been to air or ones that never feature as OTOs in real life. But sometimes the price alters or QVC adds easy pays:
I first saw this Together item at the end of July as an OTO on the app (tho not on the Top Finds on the web page but I waited and the p&p was reduced to zero and ordered one on the 30th. It's still on the app and been on the Top Finds for a few days and folk are buying it because the grey I got has sold out now but it's never been to air. The Top Find list isn't exhaustive so OTOs go to air and appear in Top Finds around the same time and a few never crop up in TF. Funnily many of the ones CHuntley and Debbie Flint release to their Twitter followers have already been visible on the web.
In the end all OTO prices show on the main site just before, during and sometimes after they go to air but not all show in advance on Top Finds. The Tarte OTO has been in TF on the app (didn't look online) but at the full-price which didn't strike me as a good buy compared with the event/surprise item. They probably sold a few at the higher price. It's a confusing mish-mash of the items formerly know as Hot Picks and OTOs and other items.

What I ask myself is why are QVC doing this? Some units will sell at a higher price before they load the OTO price, and some will shift because buyers think they've spotted a bargain that others haven't. It doesn't happen by accident even though their web team have their limitations QVC are masters at manipulating their buyers.

Thanks for this, Akimbo, but I'm really confused now. What do you advise from your experience of the app and the website? Do you just have to keep checking and compare both? Is it always a good idea to wait a bit in case price is lowered, or P&P is taken off?
