Once again is it me and my TV

What a I also thought was the height of rudeness was AY doing her "don't touch me" persona, which I actually find odd for a woman who supposedly works in the beauty industry were people are kissing and hugging all the time time. I caught a bit were one of the "winners" said to her "can I hug you" and she said "oh go on then, a few have already" I thought what a cheeky cow! She wouldn't stand a chance in the real beauty industry, not just twenty or thirty overpriced beauty brands that QVC flog and call the beauty Industry, no I mean the actual real beauty industry.

Flicked over and caught seconds of the beauty awards and AY. Even Mr L went "holy s***" what does she look like?

Yet on FB they are nearly wetting themselves over how wonderful she is looking.

Is it me?

Make up looked a bit off! When light hit her cheeks they looked bruised. What make up was she wearing? Will be avoiding that, not flattering one bit!! :mysmilie_5:

I caught the last half hour or so and it was like watching a car crash! I thought the whole set up was a complete embarrassment. It could all have been done and dusted within an hour. Why the woman escorting the winner through a long corridor? Was that interesting? Absolutely not. First and last time I've watched anything to do with these awards.

I thought I had switched over to Fright Night with the gothic setting and AY looking like something from the Adams Family. I switched off, didn't want to upset the dog.

These 'awards' are pointless, as others have said on here, its just another selling exercise like their 'themed' days. I also feel that despite the BCC evening is for an extremely worthy cause, the theatrical set up also bores me rigid. All the T shirted staff manning the phones and the jolly Green room with dressed up presenters having 'the time of their life', but I suppose a lot of viewers buy into it.
