I was there, on my sick bed, trying to relax when the fast press came on again and I just had to get up and post as I am seething.....

This thing, and all presses they show on IW is a pile of carp, Steamy Sue is making it look even worse with her absolutely terrible demonstration. The things she is trying to press are not even creased as much as a normal item of clothing would be, far far less, to the point where Im scrutinising the screen trying to find a single crease on some items.

The things that do have minimal creasing, then dont come out smooth once pressed for about 4 times as long as a normal iron would take. Sue is ignoring half the items and for example just did a jumper, ignoring completely the whole front of the garment and doing just the arms and collar.

The presenters and Sue are claiming to have a press and use it all the time, the same presenters and Sue who claim to have a LauraStar / Polti / steam generator delete as appropriate.

I hate to say it but this product and SS wouldnt last 5 seconds on QVC as it just looks a complete pile of rubbish and I can and do iron faster and better with a Morrys First Home iron which cost me £4.95. I have never been moved so much to get up and write on here as this utter shambolic pile of shite.

Rant over.....for now!!!!

Oh Oh Oh Oh

Sue just pressed a pair of jeans with absolutely NO creases in them, after spraying them with water and then pressing for 6 seconds LOLOL, I am going to scream if I watch this again.
And exactly what DO sodding dressmakers use Sue? Steam one minute and pressing the next, or maybe both?

My blood pressure cant take the sheer amount of rubbish being spouted this hour.

Dreadful demonstrations I agree. However, I do happen to have a Fast Press. It's the previous model to this one bought from the bay. It really is very good and I couldn't be without it. It's the best quality press I've ever seen and presses everything apart from my daughter's fussy, detailed frilly things which need the point of a good steam iron. My ironing time has been cut dramatically since I've had it and bedding is done to a really good standard much quicker than with a conventional iron.
