Jewellery trends do change alot as everyone knows so I was thinking about brands that have all disappeared silently from Q.
South Western Silver
Nour
Mischa by design
Amber(with the Polish Lady)
Silver from Thailand (can't remember her name)
Or Paz has died a death too.

There was Susie B (Beontegard or something like). Cognac diamonds (looked like the industrial variety to me). There was a Canadian man, David something or other who had some lovely unusual silver pieces. Lee Sands - was it mainly mother-of-pearl ? (He also flogged eelskin wallets etc, yuck).

I've not seen Adrian Buckley for a while.

Suarti from Bali who wore traditional costume and danced at the end of each show.

Black hills Gold Was another and that bloke in the Hawaiian shirt with his tat. There was a Spanish gold brand and I still have a couple of pieces but can't think of the name of the woman who was the guest. I think there was a NewYork brand of bling as well. Sorry I can't remember the exact names.

I used to like that Kimberly Selwood. She did some lovely silver designs. Wasn't there a Turkish man who used to come on too? I can't remember the name of the range.

Zany American chap - young and bald I think? Rebranded then disappeared. Can't remember the brands name

Oh I remember that silly cow! What about that cheap Italian gold-plated copper stuff with that Italian woman with the ridiculous over-the-topppa accent-a? Or blueberry quartz? In fact, solid gold pieces now seldom make an appearance.

Has Nour gone?

Being a big jewellery fan I miss so many of them. Even the ones I didn't like (don't do Bali oxidised type of stuff) at least it was different.

Kimperly Selwood, lovely heavy pieces but only lasted a couple of shows. Has her own website but some of the things are too fine for me and a lot of gold too expensive.

Tasco, early stuff fab recent not so good.

I have a couple of SW silver but not that fussed about it only wear them in the summer.

Lee Sands, didn't like very much but one or two pieces I still wear, I liked the young Australian girl who represented them towards the end.

I love Amber and liked the Polish guest but most of the designs were far too dainty for me but I did buy one or too.

Remember the SA woman with the hats Egoli (?) - even then her stuff was expensive, Now it would be off the scale.

Like others I have a lot of gold set stone rings in just about every stone imaginable

Sadly no more, it's Eek, Eek and yet more Eek. Don't get me wrong I'm not against Eek I wear it quite often but even there it is all the same old same old.

I have no problem with costume jewellery, I like Bronzo Itala etc but just want a bit of variety in the brands.

When Q get a brand they flog it to death - the only watch they now do is Radley (yawn) and Anne Kline - Skagen has gone - and those 2 will go soon because everyone will be sick and tired of them.

Variety, variety, variety, that's what we want, something for all tastes and pockets.

TJC has KS items and she also has items on Jersey Pearl

Chateau D'Argent - still wear some of his weighty solid sterling silver pieces; assume he re-branded as a fashion jewellery brand when silver and gold prices rose.

His silver bracelet with butterflies in different shades of mother of pearl is my all time favourite piece of jewellery (apart from sentimental pieces) - a bold claim but it was only around £25 and the matching ring I bought in last clicks is still beautiful. (I'm not a huge fan of butterfly motifs but still love it)

Has Las Vegas Gems gone as well, presented by that youngish chap who looked somewhat old for his years? I never bought any but I used to think some of the sapphire stuff they had in different colours was great.

I used to like Viva las Vegas - have some pieces and they are really good quality. They left, came back, and now seems to have gone again, as only 3 pieces left in clearance. Liked South West Silver, and the amber shows.

Enjoyed lots of jewellery shows over the years, but now they are as rare as hens teeth. Used to enjoy the gems fest shows - all we get now is diamonique. I do have some of that but much prefer genuine gems, so I shop elsewhere for these.

There was a time when you couldn't switch Q on without seeing a bit of Smokey Quartz. Haven't seen any for years though.

My favourite ever range was Mischa by Design. Loved the jewellery and I loved the guest as well. No shouting, no hysterical claims, just a classy lady who you could tell was proud of her wares.

There was the New York guy who did lovely gemstone gold jewellery he disappeared after 9/11, to be replace by Viva Las Vegas range. I think that was the same time a few of the American ranges disappeared, Black Hills Gold which started having silver items. Not sure I got the idea they did not want to fly over to the UK?

I remember KS range which they always said was in Lord Of The Rings. Think that was the selling point for QVC.

Stuarti who we found had all her stuff made cheap as anything by Chinese works paid in pennies.

Skagen has not gone anywhere but as they are now owned by fossil so that is a reason for it

Nour is still around & kicking as it was just on before christmas & not back till least feb & i do remember or-paz saying he aint back till feb/march last time he was on

the siliver is suarti but there is new pieces but that means nothing

mr segal?? i loved his shows as he was so OTT but still new pieces coming & lee sands was more hawaiian kind of jewellery & still on Q US http://www.qvc.com/catalog/search.html?langId=-1&storeId=10251&catalogId=10151&keyword=lee+sands also Q do still sell the Buckley range now which they expanded just before christmas but he wont front it now

No turquoise shows for ages and I'm not so sure Bibi Bijoux is going to survive.

thats due to the cost of the ones Q like to use & Bibi aint going anywhere as there is tons & tons of new items coming & few TSVS coming up too

that acutally did make a come back & just wasnt very popular & the new york one was called "New York Collection" along with Viva Las Vegas

I used to like that Kimberly Selwood. She did some lovely silver designs. Wasn't there a Turkish man who used to come on too? I can't remember the name of the range.

shes now on TJC instead & the other turkish man was called memmet from "Ottoman Silver" but thatrs another one that said he wont be back till early this year

Skagen has not gone anywhere but as they are now owned by fossil so that is a reason for it

I know that they have been owned by Fossil for quite some time now but they are no longer with Q.

Anyway my local jewellery chain offer 20% off all watches at all times and they do Skagen as well as Skagen own website.

I've not seen Ginetta (Vicenza), for a long time. Has she been thrown over in favour of Bronzo Italia? They have a couple of pieces of 'Vicenza Style' on the website, so it does look as though she has also bitten the (diamonique) dust.

I've got a couple of Lee Sands shell necklaces and people always ask me where they're from. I bought a couple of rings from the New York collection when gold was affordable and I always like the Las Vegas gems as well. I never buy jewellery now but I do have a lot of pretty pieces from past QVC.
