I didn't buy the flannel TSV before Christmas that got such bad reviews. I have always loved NN. Interesting this says it is a premiere re the Egyptian flannel.
Am tempted re the neutral colour
I KNOW I don't need More bed linen though

It says its lightweight which the Christmas TSV was and it was dreadful, very bad quality, and returned, had loads of other flannel sets,

but this was the worst one ever

I love the Northern nights Flannel but after you said on a previous thread how bad the last flannel TSV was and after seeing the reviews it has put me off. I hope they aren't making them poor quality now. The've had those sets on since Christmas, bet the reviews weren't mentioned.

I just don't get it, i've had other flannel sets, in lightweight, and i never even questioned the quality of the TSV but was shocked when i opened it, you could actually see through it, and it wasn't cosy, i'd be wary buying the lightweight ones again, but my set was the double so i got it collected, not sure if the normal ones are over 4kgs, so it would be costly to return, i even returned the sheets id bought to match

When you actually could get them to pick it up Barb lol!
It says it's 300tc, so really don't know if this one would be any better. Like JBD I've got plenty of it already & don't want to risk the drama of returning it if it's dodgy like the last TSV x.

It's Egyptian cotton and made in Portugal, both good signs. I'm sure they'll have worked out a way of doing it on the cheap though.
Apart from that, it'll be spring in a month.

I've sent two sets back. One shed bits everywhere for weeks (despite washing). The other was just crap quality and thin. Had a set a few years ago which was excellent, but I guess quality control has gone awry now.

I too prefer the Cozee home stuff. No ironing too. Nice to see NN doing some non floral sets though.

The duo set I returned at year-end was made in China. I had thought NN were made in Portugal. Maybe the quality varies as to where it's made.

It annoys me when Snoozy makes out that she can't tell us the thread count of flannel "because it's all fuzzed up". Thought of counting it before it gets fuzzed love?

She must think we're born yesterday.

I really like,I actually think my size (king) is quite a good price - I was expecting higher.

However since I've taken myself back to the high street, and have voted against QVC's high prices and P&P with my feet, in the last 6 months? its really opened my eyes to what else is out there.I've always believed the presenters when they've said 100% cotton flannel is hard to find....well I found it on ebay quick enough.I've also stopped being a snob about 100% quality and actually my 50% poly and cotton flannel bedding from Matalan is just as nice

Until I bought the recent cozee tsv, I have always used NN as my bedlinen of choice. The faux mink and fleece set does, in my opinion, beat the NN flannel and I am going to purchase another set in silver, as I purchased the latte.

i bought my daughter an egyptian cotton double duvet cover and two pillow cases for £22 in homebase from £44 and no postage
