What's wrong with shaving?!! I have neither the time, patience or commitment to faff about for months to get rid of hair when I can whip it off in 5 mins with a razor!

Is it just me?!

No it most certainly is not just you Capirossi! I have to admit to not really understanding exactly what the benefits of frazzling the hair and THEN still having to rub it off the skin - the hair is not being removed at the root, just at the surface of the skin surely, just like shaving does! Not convinced and cant be bothered!!

No not just you. I think its a waste of money because after 3. months if its done its job, what are you meant too do with it.
A no no from me.

LELover. One could order it in Oct., use it and return by 25th Jan. under the EMBG. Fuzz-free. And £ refunded. InTheory. NotSuggesting anyone OnHere would do such a thing, but I betcha someone, somewhere will do it. Cynical? Moi?

I think Alison y and Will should try reading the reviews on the website i no they adressed some reviews saying u need more than 30 days and the smell but i just had a quick look thru the reviews and the rating is 2.1 stars out of 5 and its not just the smell and the time that people were complaining about, be interested to see if the reviews get better now people have 90 days to try it.

i feel the same about waxing - not only the pain but you have to grow the hair in between! yuk, give me shaving any day.

I`m a razor gal too. It`s quick, easy and portable if you`re going away. I`ve tried waxing but didn`t like the ouch factor. Must admit I like threading for eyebrows and top lip though.

No No! It's not just you (see what I'd did there??)
I much prefer a good old fashioned razor blade. In fact the cheaper the better I find - I bought some yesterday actually - 80p for ten, that'll last me at least three months. Bit of a difference between 80p and 160 odd quid.
And while we're on the subject why does that woman use it on her arms - who shaves or waxes their arms unless they're Bradley ****** Wiggins.......?

Waxing left me with a terrible rash. I tried the. emjoi epilator which did the same. So.for my sensitive skin a razor it is.

i feel the same about the carisonic. i use a liz earle or emma hardy or my grandaughters old muslim nappies to wash my face and it works really well and costs hardly anything but there are lovers of it on here. with regards to hair i just use cream in the summer when i wera shorts or skirts...

I wax in the summer for holidays and shave the rest of the year, to be honest I don't really get the no no! I just wouldn't be committed enough.

I have epilators but I still shave my legs, armpits and bikini line before seeing my specialist (only because she checks my armpits and groins for nodes.....not for anything else:happy: ) It is a lot quicker.

I use a razor, but bought the Emjoi epilator last year solely for use on my upper lip. It wasn't as painful as I thought it might be once I got the hang of it - keeping skin as tight as possible. I've found it very successful and far better than creams, just need tweezers for occasional strays.

NADS! Can't remember if it was Q or IW that sold it - strange green gunk that smelt of kiwi fruit, applied like wax, supplied with a lovely balm to use afterwards and it worked like a dream on my face. I used it regularly for about 18 months and eventually the hair didn't grow back. Didn't work on legs though.....

Hi,

am I the only one here that doesnt shave (or remove their hair by any means) at all?

Mind, I'm not very hairy. If I looked like a gorilla it might be a different story :)

Cheers,
Karen

No, I've got that gene too. No underarm hair to speak of, very little arm or leg hair.

I do feel for women who have facial hair though, often through health issues. My friend resorted to electrolysys to get rid of hair caused by PCOS - polycystic ovarian syndrome. It's an on-going thing because hair sprouts in different places all the time.
