yes, you have a point there
and while i don't mind the jars
i would have liked a spatula with them
but have found my own solution with a little spoon
in my mind,
the thing with Deciem is that you get very concentrated products,
crammed full of active ingredients
it is all about the effectiveness of the product
and no consideration is given to scent, surface feel or customer expectation
such as you would get with a 'spa' type range
packaging is basic
but then again, in my mind, you are getting a very concentrated effective product
with no frills at a very good price
not at a 'Perricone' type price
and it is not for everyone
this kind of uncompromising approach
(again that is why they go 'we are the abnormal beauty company)
just as a sort of example
if i were to purchase a Retinol product form Alpha H
i would pay around £100 for 90ml of a 0.5% Retinol oil
and the Hand Chemistry one is £20 list price for double the Retin Oil concentration of 1.0% for 100ml
(and we both got a far better deal than that as well)
the HC Retin Oil only came out as a 'body product'
because Brendan Truaxe was bound by a non compete agreement for face products
but he could put it in a 15ml bottle and sell it for the face, now,
as the agreement is now over
there was a Sunday Times article about how this is suitable for the face
and i have seen Brendan say it as well
so i am fine with the basic packaging as i am getting a really active concentrated product at amazing value
btw, the top is pretty standard and you may have a flip top lid on some other bottle which may fit
or decant some in a dropper bottle ?
it is obviously not cheap anymore if dropped and drained on the floor with oily hands
i agree
