I smelt two of them in my local department store and found them a bit nondescript, to be honest. I quite like the sweet florals as well but I like a bit of a hit and these were wishy-washy to my nose. Could be the colours influencing my senses but they were too much like the ones last year (or before?) in the range including Sweet Nothings and Rainbow Cookie. Nice enough but not going to make me buy, especially when I am not short of stock!

Thank you AndiK, I certainly don't need any more wishy washy Yankee Candles, have enough of those in the stash, so I will take heed of your description and sit on my hands!

Aw, I don't mean to be a spoilsport and you know how we all pick up different scents and strengths so others may find different, but that was my honest opinion. Let's see if Mazza has hers yet and can give us her expert cold sniff review (bearing in mind she won't be lighting any until 2023, bless her).

Ordered but still in transit. Will report my cold sniff thoughts when I get them!
 
Well they have just arrived and are, as you can imagine, cold as ice,LOL. Still I have done the sniff test and actually I am quite relieved because I was secretly dreading a bit of a food fest! Luckily they are far more fruity and floral with no evidence in their current state of any cakey vanilla or similar.
Floral Candy seems to have the most foody tendency but you can still smell a floral, I think Rose, underneath. I think this is the one Rosa said was a bit like a softer Jelly Bean.
Sweet Morning Rose is definitely more Rose but not as fresh as Fresh Cut Roses.
Blush Bouquet is a light floral, reminding me a bit of Market Blossoms(?).

I thought these might be like Sweet Nothings but that is more perfumed. These remind me of Honey Lavender Gelato which had a surprise scent of blackberries and Sweet Apricot Rose which had more of the apricot than the Rose about it. Oh, and Picnic in the Park had a fruit/floral duality too. I reckon that is what they have gone for with these. I think the burn will not fill the room with heavy scent though!!!!

Oh no, Mazza, you have referenced some of my absolute faves as regards these kinds of smells - the ones I've loved in recent years have indeed been Honey Lavender, Sun Drenched Apricot Rose, Market Blossoms etc etc, so now I'm tempted all over again! Think I need to revisit the stash when I get home, just to remind myself just how much is in there :mysmilie_50:

Great descriptions! I like the past ones you compare them to as well but not enough to buy, sadly. I think if I’d found the notes more distinct, at least they would have appealed to me more. Enjoy them, though. I’m pleased you’re not regretting your purchase.
 
Oh Lord! Tarketta don't splash out based on my probably less than accurate descriptions!!!!! But those were definitely the family they reminded me of. Floral but with a strong fruit, but more berry than say a pear. In fact I have just ordered some tarts and tea lights to go with them and for floral candy the tea lights I have gone for are red raspberry. That is mainly because all the ones I referenced are no longer stocked and this limited edition doesn't include tealights. I did hear YC are planning to stop making them but I hope not. Picnic in the Park smelt of raspberries to me.
