Neck Creams

I am very lucky, I have been told by friends I haven't a line on my neck. At 67 no lines. But I started using a neck cream in my late 20s or early 30s. Not a fan of sun bathing, which is a major contributor to neck wrinkles. The thing is once you have them no cream will get rid of them, you can get a neck lift. They say the skin on your neck is not the same as the skin on your face.

I do joke that when I am laid out in my coffin people will, WOW she had a great neck :ROFLMAO:
My perfect eyes is supposed to be a good temporary fix and ,I think it's Penny Lane has buy one get one free for £29.
Thanks Patti. Will Google it now.

Me too. 🤣

I’ve found a daily antihistamine tablet has taken the heat out of my skin, got rid of my rosacea but doesn’t stop my large dose vitD once a month tablet spot right in the middle of my cheek but I can live with that with all the other benefits.
I end up having to check every item I use for my body, ie shampoo, creams, etc. I do take antihistamines now and then as I suffer a lot from hayfever in Summer, but I now have Diverticular Disease and that apparently is one of the things I should avoid. Every single blood pressure tablet I have tried I have a reaction to as well. Honestly, everything seems to work against you at times. It is no fun at all is it Loveinamist.

Isn't there a product called Fabulift for eyes? I'm sure I had it once. You dab it on and it kind of fills and freezes the lines around your eyes temporarily. I think it did work, however, I obviously didn't seek it out again when the one I had was finished so maybe it wasn't that great after all - or too expensive.

I got one of those eye lift things last year. Felt really tight, left white marks which I had to dab off, but did look to smooth round my eyes. Just didn't last the 8 hours it was supposed and wasn't comfortable at all. TBH I couldn't wait to get the stuff off.

Absolutely not Anna, it’s quicker to list what I’m not allergic/reactive to. It is a way of life now. Your reactions sound awful but the positive, we have to find it, is the knowledge you glean and the control you can feel. I hope you have enough information to place you there.

Is it worth buying a separate neck cream or is it a scam?

Currently, I bring my moisturiser down onto my neck.

Has anyone seen a difference with any of the items on QVC or maybe a cream from somewhere else.

Your thoughts/experiences would be appreciated.
You need to treat your neck differently because the dermis is thinner, has less collagen and there are fewer oil glands. If you have the time in your routine I would recommend neck massages and exercises. They work and are a one time cost. I use a stone roller on my face and neck. Great for tension as well. If you want to go the cream route or use a body/face moisturiser as a multi tasking item then collagen is a must and any ingredient designed to increase moisture, hyaluronic acid is very good because it naturally occurs in the eyes and joints so the body recognises it and absorbs it well. Whatever you use should be light, avoid heavier body butter type consistencies. One of the main reasons neck and face cream are different is because the face can handle a thicker consistency than the neck. Heavy creams can literally weight the neck down. Think of what happens when a cream is used directly under the eyes where the skin is thinner, cream residue gathers and creates 'bags', similar can happen to the neck. Hope that helps.
