Swit swoo!!!!

3 keepers out of 4 so not bad!!!

Ok, first up the one that's going back .............

Diamond earrings, 14k y/gold £149. Very pretty but, from what I can see through the bag, the diamonds just don't perform. It's such a shame cos I really like them but as I got the 3 colour gold ones the other day I think I prefer those. I really hate the packaging that earrings come in because you can't see a thing. These earrings are long but you can't get an idea of perspective at all because they're all bunched up. Oh well, back they go ............ http://www.gemstv.co.uk/Shop/productDataSheet.jsp?productid=UXK7745&menuselection=3&colourScheme=1

Now for the keepers ............

A big thank you to Arge and MissM who brought this one to my attention. I absolute ADORE this pendant. The minute I saw it, I fell in love because it's a total replica of a Tiffany pendant that I have a picture of and have always wanted!!! Piccie attached.

Anyway, this is Tanzanite and diamonds and the diamonds DO perform! It's only tiny but very art deco and very very pretty! For £139 you can't go wrong can you? This is gawjus!

Oh, what do you think is going on with the reverse of the pendant? It's got a clip thingy. What's that for then?

Next up is another pendant. I saw this on air and to be honest wouldn't have been tempted by the GemsTV picture. It was on with the lovely Angeline and honestly that woman can sell ice to Eskimos!!!

The diamonds are ok and sparkle nicely and I really like the two colour gold. You do have to play "hunt the pink tourmaline" though but I don't mind that! For £117 it's a great buy me thinks as it's a good size and looks pretty on.

And as always, here's the cheapie surprise! This is a silver 3 tone necklace and it is great for everyday! For £19 this is staying lol!

Glad you have a good delivery i adore the Tanzanite pendant (i liked the ring that matched as well) i think the clip is so it can go on any chain even if it won't fit over the clasp!

Nice mojos........

Delighted that you got some keepers in your delivery Meesh. All the pendants are very pretty and the last two look very contemporary and probably very good for every day wear.

I was having a close look at the Tiffany pendant (its gorgeous....wonder what quality of diamonds they use?) and the Tanzy pendant (well spotted Argey and Miss M) and the resemblance is quite uncanny. There is so much workmanship in this piece and even more so when it's on a small scale. Its so dainty and an excellent price, well done on some very canny shopping. :clapping:

BTW, think I saw a similar pair of the 'reject' earrings on TV earlier but in Cognac diamonds....think Scott sold them for £69!

Stuff is selling so rapidly, I can't even hit the 'Buy Now' web button fast enough. It keeps saying SOLD on the web, while there's still numbers showing on the telly! Oh well. :smirk:

Certainly an enhancer clip to allow for putting on/through segments of large chain, or over or rather between, pearls. It's a feature I find very useful and not seen often enough.

Well I would have agreed with you all that the clip was for a larger chain BUT it's smaller than the bale! In fact it's tiny. So I'm at a loss. The only thing I can think is that its to hold it firm on a chain rather than sliding through the bale???????? I guess it could be for putting on a pearl string or something - thanks for that Mathilda.

Lovely keepers Meesh...........you have great taste!(still angling for a play in yer jewellery box lol)

I must say that I think my fave is the cheapie silver necklace.......who'da thought it eh ;)

You're welcome to come and play Sweetpea - on one condition ................ you bring yours as well!!!

I want to play as well! do you have a log of all your jewellery or would you not notice the odd Alexandrite ring and diamond ring going AWOL?

I'm not sure I should confess to this because you'll think I'm even more odd than you thought but .......... I have a photo of nearly every item I own. I have all the authenticity cards filed in alphabetical order or invoices etc, I have every valuation listed on a spreadsheet with £paid and £valued etc etc! How about that for obsessive!

So in answer to your question, yes, I would know if something went missing :giggle:

Darn it! and i thought i was good shoving all my authenticity cards in the same sealed pouch!:giggle:

Is this AA (anal anonymous). For my rings (major part of my collection) I have them all in the big 48 rings boxes that Gems used to do. I have made a cell diagram of each box with a note of what is in each cell (for my daughter when I pop me clogs). xxxxxxxx

Sounds incredibly sensible if you ask me (a fellow member of AA).

I started doing that but then it turned into a Tanzanite box, a PT box, an Alex box, a diamond box ........ :giggle:

Well a girl's gotta be organised.........

Shucks!! :tongue2:

I'm only at the metals boxes stages at the moment, and most probably won't get beyond that - 2 silver, 1 white gold, 1 yellow gold. May need another yellow gold but that's probably as far as I'll get. Unless of course <a href="http://plugin.smileycentral.com/http%253A%252F%252Fwww.smileycentral.com%252F%253Fpartner%253DZSzeb008%255FZNxpt484YYGB%2526i%253D8%252F8%255F1%255F215%2526feat%253Dprof/page.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/8/8_1_215.gif" alt="SmileyCentral.com" border="0"><img border="0" src="http://plugin.smileycentral.com/http%253A%252F%252Fimgfarm%252Ecom%252Fimages%252Fnocache%252Ftr%252Ffw%252Fsmiley%252Fsocial%252Egif%253Fi%253D8%252F8_1_215%2526uiv%253D3.0/image.gif"></a> xx
