Molton Brown TSV 06/10/19

It will be interesting to see how this pans out; will MB just send out the missing Suede Orris wash to those receiving the body lotion? If they do this how will they know which you received and if you ring / email to say you received the lotion will you just get a bonus Orris? Not that I'm condoning abusing QVC and there's a chance Q will suggest you return the whole set if you don't want it (it never feels like a satisfactory outcome if you're really looking forward to your purchase). Then will those who don't end up being sent and extra product feel put out?

I'll be watching with interest to see what happens!

If only one part of an order/item is wrong I've always been asked to send the whole lot back. I'm guessing that some people might say they had the wrong item when they haven't but QVC could ask for a photo of the rogue item to be emailed to them just to be sure. I've not got mine yet so we'll see.

I'm saving my Molton Brown purchase until the December offering; I got the later TSV last year (2/12/18) - This Set - and it suited me perfectly.

It will be an own goal. It's their Christmas TSV isn't it? To get it wrong is well, just wrong. I suspect most of us will suck it up but there will be those that like to shout and they will do just that.

Reminds me of that time I sent a reply email to "all" instead of intended recipient :mysmilie_11: Always check, ho hum ho hum;

Oh Blimey.......Awks!!!

Super, my credit card loves you! I do usually buy MB, it is one of my luxury buys just for myself. Mr CC gets to use the Avon handwash and he doesn't care, he even prefers a 10p bar of soap. Result :mysmilie_59:

Don't knock the Avon though, some seems quite good.

Which soap is 10p?

Wow! Which soap is 10p?

I loved Molton Brown for years, long before their products were sold on the Q. In fact everyone used to ask what was the fragrance on my babies & it was the original 'Vitalising Vitamin A B & C' because I used it all the time, later renamed as Orange & Bergamot. However, I've now moved on & found small companies producing the most wonderful products that give results; they don't test on innocent animals, don't harm the planet, use natural ingredients in glass bottles & eco-friendly packaging, give excellent service & don't cost a huge amount. Whew.

Wasn't the now named Orange & Bergamot originally called Naranji - IIRC? Unless it was called Vitamin ABC even before that? Just wondering?

Morrisons used to do a value bar of soap at 10p and once they were selling off old stocks of Pears soap for about 12p. I can't use it, dries out my already very dry skin.

Ah yes. Not all soap is equal. I always check bar soap ingredients - some can be evil.

yes there is a top up set in dec as standard it seems now

Wish I'd known that before I got this one, however, I shall just have to buy both :mysmilie_8:

Yikes! Who looks the worst? Gemma or Jill??

its the usual thing & Q have confirmed it

They have said on air tonight they do not have confirmation yet as to whether there will be a further TSV before Christmas.

Jemma alluded to it on the last show I saw.

Did they mention the Warm option faux pas at all?

Dear Lord, just seen the guest presenting M/Brown - and she really should not tuck a sweater into a short skirt ! top heavy bust and rolls of back fat over her too tight bra at the rear . With a bit of luck she will be mortified if she sees herself later on . I know I would be.

I don’t get Molton Brown and the price tag for such small sizes when there’s so much more nicer choice out there, and never in a million years would I buy the husband or my sons a fragrance or body wash with the word Tobacco in it. Each to their own though, we're all different. :mysmilie_3:

I remember when Molton Brown use to be the big TSV of Christmas and they sold 'Elemis numbers', now they are almost 'regulated' to an early show and then a small(ish) one in December, much like Liz Earle and their fragrance December TSV. No, how times have changed!

Jemma Forte looked a sight a couple of weeks ago when she was on with AY & doesn't look any better now. Is 1960s retro the look for A/W 2019?

Darling, it's iconic & our friends are always delighted when they use the guest cloakroom & see that we have the latest fragrances. Such a talking point over brunch...
