I'm getting very low on Dark Leather EDT so I'm hoping the Boxing Day sale will have that at a reasonable price.
They usually have 25% off. I managed to get a bottle of the EDP when it was Russian Leather at a brilliant price. They need to get rid of it because of the change of name, the bath and shower gel was greatly reduced and I bought as well.

So having a wander in my new TKMaxx in Belfast city centre, what did I find?

Quite a number of MB bath/shower gels. Gingerlily, TempleTree, Flora Lum, Lily and Magnolia and Jasmine & Sunrose. Multi bottles of each at £22. Jasmine & Sunrose was in the MB sale this summer I know.

Is MB shower gel good quality, eg no SLS and other ‘harsh’ ingredients ? I’ve noticed cheaper gels are now drying my skin (I’m getting old 😱).
MB never makes my skin tight and itchy like a lot of lower brand shower products and I do have dry skin. There's a few scents that are too overpowering but I like most of them. Another good thing is that you only need a tiny amount on a sponge to make loads of foam so they last for ages. I've got a black pepper from 2 years ago that still isn't finished (although I do rotate between bottles from time to time). Makes the bathroom smell nice as well for ages after you've had a shower.

I liked the Lily of the valley and starflower one, another favourite discontinued.
Prefer a light floral (apart from rhubarb and rose yuck) or citrus scent which MB seems to going away from. Only ones I like now are Pink Pepper and eucalyptus, the latter which never seems to be available.

They appear to be going for the “heavier” scents. Almost as if AY has an input for ALL GENDER scents.🤣

Thanks CC, think I’ll give it a go.

Since they opened an outlet store in Gretna I often pop in. The shower gels , seem to have all the scents not just discontinued ones, are £15. They also sell little organza bags of mixed travel sizes, shower gels, body lotions, solid soap, about a dozen in each bag at £10 or two for £18. The contents vary each time I visit. Also if you buy anything, even one of the little bags, you get to choose from a full size bottle of different items each visit, sometimes hand wash, sometimes body lotion sometimes shower gels, choice of about four different smells each time, for just £5.

Further proof, if it were needed, of just overpriced they are at the usual asking price.

Why, Jazzydrury? It’s still usable, isn’t it?
because of all the controversy , (especially about the Pink Pepper which is a favourite), as I had finished a PP I opened the one yesterday from the IW box with batch made May 2023 (I usually have 3 shower gels on the go and would normally have chosen something else). While the smell wasn't as strong the fragrance was perfectly ok, lathered well, and my skin felt just as soft as usual after showering with MB - for me I can't see the difference between this 18 months old set and the ones that appear elsewhere like TK Max - perhaps I am being dim😳.

Thankfully as I have far too many body lotions to get through I could swerve this tsv!😄
