I got some Heavenly Gingerlily Perfume for Christmas love it. Wish they still did the shimmer body cream.

I was online browsing today and ended up on TK Maxx. I honestly can't remember the last time I purchased from TK Maxx, but today I saw Gatineau, 2 items and several bath and shower gels from Molton Brown, obviously virtually half price..........JUST SAYIN'

I bought a gift set of bath/shower gels which has the shampoo and conditioner in it. That is a birthday gift for a friend.
Two hand cream sets, Amber Cocoon hand lotion, the 400mls refill canister of Sea Fennel and Cypress.

Oh, someone asked why the royal warrant had disappeared from MB products?

I know the answer, it was the royal warrant from the Queen who died so the warrant ended. So unless Charlie or his wife give a warrant you won't see them on MB products.

Yes, had a look on Amazon and quite a few are at £25. Some fragrances are the same price as MB.

I received an email this morning advising that all Molton Brown stores and offices would be closed on 20th January for Mental Health Day. Evidently this is a regular occurrence every January. Reading on down it said this is standard amongst the Kao group of companies. Was intrigued as I thought Molton Brown was an independent British company.

So I checked on Companies House. Kao are a Japanese company based in Japan, apart from their solicitor who is British, the three directors for Molton Brown are Japanese, American and German.

Reading on down it said this is standard amongst the Kao group of companies. Was intrigued as I thought Molton Brown was an independent British company.

Yes, I remember when the Japanese company bought them over. Loads of products discontinued, the skin care for one and then brought back to be discontinued again also with the hair care ranges.

I have always smiled at QVC push MB as 100% British. The products are made in the UK, but the owners are Japanese.

Seems Charlie is pulling loads of royal warrants, so MB have lost theirs.
