Wow! Have had such a good result with this. Transformed my peeling, weak nails which have been a problem for years and only had short term improvement with various other brands. Have been religious in application and they feel very protected, even with one application. Small bottles but well enough for two week application regime.

I have found this regime brilliant! I bought the treatment set, a couple of colours and the top coat from eBay as Q won't post to Spain. After 2 weeks of doing the treatment I used the colour which has lasted 6 days without chipping.Thoroughly recommend!

Very interesting! I have super-bendy nails which either crack or peel. If they grow much beyond my fingertips, they start growing round my fingertips. They are totally weak and thin. I've watched the presentations, but I don't think I've seen nails quite as thin and bendy as mine, so never quite sure if it would work for me. Currently I'm a Shellac girl - the only thing that helps my nails look nice and grow a little.

Might be worth considering the starter kit and just do one little finger nail to see. I went on to buy a larger bottle from Amazon as I want to do a three week regime for maximum benefit and I had six nails that peeled and others that just cracked off or were bendy. I haven't used the colour or top coat yet, just concentrating on repair. There were no instructions with kit but it is recommended you put a barrier cream on cuticles to protect them, I didn't do this, I covered the nail with a gap to the cuticle as I have a steady hand and have had no problem. Hope this helps.

My nails peel and also get very brittle and just snap off if I make contact with something hard ie bash my finger when opening a drawer. I use the Red Carpet Manicure gel polish and file my nails back each time I reapply it every 10-12 days

Nails are looking really good LIAM. Healthy and pretty. I can normally grow mine to whatever length I want but I have had a bad patch with them where they were in dreadful condition and I really struggled so I do know what its like to see them suddenly starting to come good.

I'm a fan of Nail Envy but you have to find a system that works for you.

One tip I think makes a real difference is that as they grow to use good quality clippers to cut down the length if you need to. I let mine grow until they get too talon like to be able to do things then clip them down by about 50%. I rarely, if ever, get any snags or broken nails these days. I used to use scissors. And filing them down wasn't really an option because of how much I needed to take them down by.

Enjoy having those pretty nails.

Thank you Tinkerbelle. I use the crystal file from Perfect Formula which I found better than Leighton's. I bought a really large pair of clippers to make sure they covered the edges without any steps. I am just so glad the peeling is under control. I'm not a colour polish devotee but I hope Q start stocking more products from this range. I don't think I'll get to your stage though Tink of strength and length, I've never had strong nails and I am envious of beautiful natural nail manicures. I just hope when I am back at work they hold out and for my DD wedding in October!

Update: Ten days on from my first post, I am thrilled. My nails are really strong! I wasn't interested in the growth aspect of the product, I just wanted strength. I don't think I have particularly had exceptional growth but I'm not bothered.

LIAM - they look fab! Congratulations to you... I think I need to give this a whirl.

At present I've got one hand with very short nails, and the other with a nice bit of length (by my standards).

Honestly I don't think it matters if they grow really long. As long as you have nails you're happy with. Partly I grow mine because keeping them short takes more effort but these days if one breaks I just cut the lot off. I like natural nails better than colour in me but I don't mind what length they are.

I'm a big fan of Leighton Denny's Brilliance Shield. Its really just a clear polish with a slightly lilac hue so its the perfect cheat's French manicure. It makes the nail look nude and the tips really white. I love it!

I hope your nails stay looking lovely for DD's wedding.

Hi again - it's on it's way! I will give it a whirl and report back.
