I can't quite put my finger on why the jacket she is wearing looks so odd. It looks like it's just been taken out of the wrapper and still has the cardboard packaging insert in the back of it.
It looks odd on the model in these photos, imagine trying to sit down with it on!

It reminds me of that Topper or whatever she calls them a few months ago, looked like you had stripped the bed of the duvet and wrapped yourself in it.There is a limit to what you can get a couple of rectangles of fabric to do.Marla hasn’t got the message it is not as simple as that.

What on earth is a "topper" when it's at home?! Obviously something MW has made up to have us believe that there's something missing from our wardrobes. It looks like a wipe clean table cloth with arms sewn in. The fabric's as stiff as a board, looks really awkward and uncomfortable to wear - In fact I'd go as far to say that it looks ridiculous, and I'm sure it would make a noise when you moved your arms in it! Another typical example of MW's lazy designing - and she probably could knock 'em all up in her own garage if she wanted to as there doesn't appear to be much work put in to each item. Fabric sheet - check, Scissors - check , Sewing machine - Check....buzz buzz..throw on the pile, buzz buzz, throw on the pile and so on!
...and check out the price...I am DISGUSTED that they think anyone would part with £154 for it! Anyone who buys that needs a bloody good slap as far as I'm concerned!

A topper is a type of eiderdown/ duvet.

I have seen big quilted coats but they were soft whereas MW’s instead of wrapping around you stuck out. It reminded me of those spoof WW1&2 pilot stretches where the white scarf is “flying” horizontally rather than lying flat. IYKWIM by that long winded explanation!

Or this delight.

Or this delight.

Another couple of useless garments..A velvet thing that'll make you sweat buckets indoors, but won't give you any protection from the elements and forget getting the darned thing wet! and a padded coat that will let the wind whistle round every orifice, and that ridiculous hood wouldn't even stay up if somebody blew on it. I'm all for looking stylish in cold/bad weather, but totally pointess if the garment can't stand up to the bad weather. Fair enough, you're not always going to need to wear it done up, or wear it with the hood up..but it would be nice if you could when necessary. Soon as the rain falls and it gets really cold then you'll be fighting with a hood that keeps falling down, you'll be freezing cold around the neck 'cause it doesn't do right up to the top, and the wind will be whistling right up through it as the buttons stop about half way down. Stylish and practical is what people want in a winter garment...MW fails on both counts every time!

Don’t worry Merryone we are all clubbing together to get you a voucher that can only be spent on MW, for Christmas.Look forward to reading your reviews!

Oh bless your heart! If you manage to gather £50..I'll be able to get myself a couple of vest tops! Even she can't get those wrong...apart from the daft price!

Melissa "stenning" seems to favour the bulky jackets. It is a case of the clothes taking the attention, ie the clothes are wearing you. I have always believed that you want your clothes to make you look good, rather than be the only thing people see.
