Cynical more like! If you want to give it as a gift - you're definitely going to have to fork out for next day delivery. It's a Sunday, so it applies... whereas if they'd made it a Saturday TSV they couldn't.

Next day delivery is not available anymore, is being relaunched next year.

yep but next day delivery aint back till next year so if your paying with a credit or debit card they will proberbly upgrade it to premium delivery at no extra cost is usually what happens

hardly anyone was at the last beauty bash so not suprised. did not see the point of such a big (lovely) venue to fill it 25%

It will be interesting to see how many brands actually have a stand at beauty bash given the repressive behaviour witnessed by attendees at the last one.

On the customer side...
The process for inviting people to attend on QVC's complementary tickets seems to have left a sour taste in the mouth in previous years.
The price for tickets also seems to be out of step with the claimed value represented by the goodie bag (and the desirability of what is in it)...
The donation to BCC doesn't seem that generous

Perhaps there are also concerns from the suppliers' side...
Inability to provide samples to customers in line with any on-the-day consultations
Inability to provide any brochures unless all non-QVC websites removed

I would also suggest that it can't be nice for the QVC staff who attend having to be the "bad guy" all the time, and knowing they must be p***ing off both customer and supplier.

Little Ondine. Nude Stix. Blink are some of the items im starting to find & Ariane Poole i did see in my searches but wasnt sure if they were new or old but maybe replacing YBF???

I felt sorry when QVC and Ariane Poole parted company, and though I don't know whose decision it was I got the impression she was pushed and her spell with Ideal World was short-lived.
Also Blinc do an excellent tubing marcara (discussed on here recently) and they used to do a peel off liquid liner which is perfect if you have lash extensions or for other reasons don't want to rub "the eye area" to remove. I wonder whether there's anything telling in Eyeko being missing from the BB?

NIOD sounds very interesting!

Funnily enough, Caroline Hirons has a brilliant post on her blog about this brand - which is very really different - and the comments includes a Q&A with the founder, and the detail of his responses is exemplary. My mind is boggling at the thought of him guesting on QVC, as it's clearly a concept that needs time to explain it, rather than the short and snappy "move it along" presentations QVC have.

Ariane sells from her own site, I get emails now and then on offers. I have £2+ in my account to use, but to be honest the only thing I bought was the concealer trio palette.

I'm safe. :)

Although i would like the shadow stick, it is the only thing...

Ebay will sort me out. :)
