New program on Channel 4 started this week following Alex and her mum Olga who have borrowed 3.5 million to revamp an old listed hotel The Star.

They couldn’t have picked a worse time to do just an expensive project but you would wonder what sort of surveyor /and builder pricing a job didn’t see the rotten flat roof and windows.

I love to watch Alex Polizzi and I'd love to meet her. I think I saw her doing a holiday programme on Italy where she went back to places she'd been as a child. I don't watch masses of telly (well Q excepted I suppose) but I find her shows very watchable.

This new programme re the renovation of a hotel is interesting I do like her Mother’s sense of style, as she is in charge of design for all Forte hotels.Like Alex too, she knows what she is talking about and can deliver.How some of these challenges have been turned around heaven knows, darling!
