Rubbish product. It made my lips tingle and that's all. No plumping . None of the claims that the rather dodgy git, John, makes came true, except for the lip softening properties. People must be buying because he's always cropping up wearing his weird clothes.

Gale Hayman Lip Lift has been on QVC since well I started watching in 1997. It must be the longest surviving beauty product they have ever sold. I remember buying back then and unimpressed. Alison Young pushed the 14ct lipstick which went with it as it will suit every one. Er, no.

The scarves are bits of polyester trash. This man has monumental cheek. Carex is an honest product. Nothing is honest about Liplift, imo, Gayle Hayman (sp?) included. Put that in your pipe and smoke it, John.

Gale Hayman Lip Lift has been on QVC since well I started watching in 1997. It must be the longest surviving beauty product they have ever sold. I remember buying back then and unimpressed. Alison Young pushed the 14ct lipstick which went with it as it will suit every one. Er, no.

I bought the Liplift with the lipstick. When I opened the lipstick, it had semi melted and the liquid spurted out and landed in the light switch on the wall. I could never remove all if it as it went deep inside.

And as for that amazing mystery ingredient, "maxi-lift" (seriously, what is it?) , should be reported to Trades-Descriptions!

If you haven't tried it, you only have to look at John, the ambassador, to see how well "maxi-lift" works.

(Clue: His lips are hardly visible).

What is "youth lift" btw - which - considering it's taken us "by storm" seems to have passed me by completely. Guess it was a storm in a tea cup

The plumping thing is meant to make the lips look like a vagina. Apparently it is sexy to have a giant plump vagina on your face.

I remember Youth Lift - the "facelift in a bottle" that all the Hollywood greats used to be "camera ready for the red carpet at Oscar parties". Then there was Tova's cactine mask - the "facelift in a jar" that was the "best kept secret in Hollywood circles". I tried it once and it set like plaster of Paris, and took ages to remove

How many of us have fallen for the Lip Lift hype? I did & it is very average product ( am being kind there). There are much better lip products out there and for less money, time QVC retired this but are there still those who are falling for it?

A monumental waste of money, imo. John seems to have quite a following, and he throws around Gayle Heyman's name, which obviously works for him.
