The 'problem' with Q selling Apple products is that they probably don't get any kind of a discount (even on a bulk order), as it is not as if Apple really need the business, so in order to give themselves some potential profit they give us the oh so wonderful 'added value' so that as a consumer we think we are getting a better deal then we would if we were going to purchase from an apple store. It always amuses me though that they sell these tech products, stating how easy and intuitive they are and then 'rave on' about 'tech crew' who can answer any query on the supposedly intuitive and easy to use piece of tech. Also the value of this is supposedly £200, what Ella once let slip is that it is a local rate call, so whilst you are calling the 'states', a customer needs to still pay for using the service. Also what also makes me dubious about the use of this service, is are they going to be able to 'tailor' the service to UK questions. After whilst some things will be the same globally, certain things such as setting time and other localisations will be different are the 'tech crew' trained to take these types of calls? I digress (not unusual for me), it is clear that if a Q can't make a profit in some way or shape then they will either tweak the product as with yesterday's TSV or give us 'added value' so that they can at least try and make some kind of profit.
