Interesting what you guys say about the Elemis offer and QVC honouring the price even though it was a mistake. I wonder how much money they lost by letting people have it for the lower price, though. If it wasn't a TSV, chances are fewer people spotted it and bought it so QVC thought, for the goodwill, might as well let those customers benefit. If they have to let everyone have the free P&P on the future ADs of today's TSV, on the other hand, that's nearly £15 per person they lose out on and potentially tens of thousands of pounds over all. A couple of hours ago, the presenter at the time said they had sold over 11,000 of the TSV already, but I don't know how many of those would be going for the AD.
Still baffled that they have not taken the message off the checkout page. Surely if it's a mistake, that's the first thing they should have done for damage limitation!
