I am taking a chance and buying this as a present for someone. The reviews are good and there is a bit on the internet - has anyone any experience of using it?

Based on the old roman method of skin scraping in the baths with a strigil

I recently bought one as the reviews for it were good and on another thread another member recommended it.

It is expensive but I'm happy with it and it is working wonders on my upper arms where body brushing seemed to make little impact and wasn't as comfortable as Le Edge.

I soap up with shower gel and then run Le Edge over the area, almost like shaving but not :1: Not sure if that is the correct way to use it but it feels better than just using it on damp skin.

Excellent I feel happier about it now, I like the idea of giving something different but hate the thought that it might be "naff".
