I did something today in the hope that it is not just me, I ordered the TSV.
The only items in this range that I like are Kajal liner and lippy. I have over the years ordered her compacts in the right colour, after applying copious amounts I have seen no difference in the cover or how it looks on my face so I have always had to return everything up until three years ago when I just stopped even trying these compacts. After several viewings and all the comments from people who adore this brand, I thought heck it must just be me. So this morning I watched the airing and decided after at least three years it must be me right enough so went ahead and ordered the TSV. I will let you all know my opinion when I try it.

Incidentally for those who think they are new, I was using kabuki brushes in the 1970s!😀😀

I switched to LG from Bare Minerals for two reasons. 1) BM was too messy to travel with and 2)when the weather was really hot and sticky BM reacted very badly on my skin. Brought me out in hives.
I thought I would try this brand years ago as a TSV and within minutes I felt like scratching my face off. Washed it off immediately and thought never again sadly. I am fine with all the other brands and love Laura Geller but wouldn't risk trying Bare Minerals ever again.

Anytime I see Sarah Jagger on I wait to see how long before she uses the word ‘Artesan’ … B&B is made by ‘Artesans in Italy’, ‘an Artesanal product’ etc etc.
Read an old interview with her where any brands she mentions are high-end. She also said in the interview that ByTerry Hylaronic Powder is the only powder that sets without flattening the skin & the only one she’s met that actually hydrates the skin.
All this might be before she started working with LG of course … howsoever I remain unconvinced that she uses very much LG in real life.

No, it isn’t just you 😁

watched AY why does she always refer to us as buying supermarket makeup. WRONG AY. In 1967 I was 18 I only ever bought skincare and makeup from well known beauty counters in the best department stores and have continued to do so as well as online, purely because times have changed and I cannot readily now go where I want. That woman makes me so angry.😡😡😡

Crikey. Watched the BA applying blusher to Jo the model. She’s put on as much as I probably use in a week. Looks as if Alex K is going the same way as Jenny Blackhorse with her head looking too big for her body.

I am the same. I have never bought makeup from a supermarket. When I was younger I used to get it from Avon and the last 20 years from QVC. I used to love Models Prefer and how Stacey showed us how to apply it properly, I miss her and liked Mojave Magic too.

My makeup brand I have used since 1992 is without doubt Bobbi Brown, the entire range, very expensive but great quality and delivers.

Another thing that irks me is the constance reference ce to the USA said on Q by many brands "this is the best selling brand time and time again in the USA" Enough of this I lived and worked in the USA not only is the population greater, the standards of American women is not the same as ours they are also easily taken in. Apologies to any Americans on here. You obviously have better taste.

Yes, my skin started to burn and itch within minutes too. Apparently it's the bismuth oxychloride. I really liked the rest of their makeup but it ruled out any TSVs for me.

It was weird that it was just the foundation powder that my skin didn’t like. I didn’t have a problem with their mineral veil or eyeshadows.

When I used to have really bad skin pigmentation, I used to wear Dermablend.

I think it’s all Talc. As I said in a previous post I used B&B right at the very beginning when there was just one shade (& I was busy damaging my skin in the sun) and it was exactly what they said it was a creamy liquid baked into a solid block. It felt beautiful on my dry skin and there was a very slight glow to it and the coverage was unbelievable. No matter how many times you put the brush on it, you never got a cloud of dust flying everywhere. This all changed when they sold the company to AS. Last time I bought it, I couldn’t get any product onto the brush although I managed to get it everywhere else! Nowadays all you get is talc dust, zero coverage and a face looking and feeling more parched than the Sahara! It’s time QVC were more transparent and honest about these brands and their ownership.
Exactly my experience too, very disappointed and won’t buy it again.
