Laura sold the business a few years ago and we didn’t see her for ages. I wonder if she’s involved in the brand again or just hired as the face. Either way it’s always good to see her - takes me back to some great tsv’s launched with lots of pzazz and excitement with the models all lined up for the demos. There was a stunning model who Laura poached from qvc I think. Can’t think of her name but she became a Laura regular.
That just made me think of another model, Debbie I think, who became exclusive to Liz Earle. All fresh faced milk maid pretty but now we don’t see her at all.

What is the box made of? I think I would break it before the powders were half used. I use Bobby Brown shimmer brick now and it replaces blusher, highlighter and bronzer for my fair complexion. I brush capital E starting from hair line to go in on cheek and then along jaw and on neck.

The pallets show up from time to time in TKMaxx. I bought three for £7.99 each a while ago, and have bought two mascaras for £5.99 recently . I find all the shadow collections seem to be just a mix of the same, or similar colours, mostly neutral shades. I do like to mix in a pop of colour from time to time!

I dropped a nearly-new Balance & Brighten compact in Madrid airport last week. As you would expect, the entire “pan” of make up cracked up and fell out. So annoyed, spent 3 days with a shiny face.
