Laura Geller: Train Case OTO or Over-Priced?

And the same set on QVC US (item A257048) for $99 (roughly £63) :mysmilie_10: (similar postage)

Don't be fooled by the apparent extra item in the title of the US set, because they include the bag in their total. They are exactly the same!

So my question is, why are we being charged so much more?..they haven't just changed the $ sign to a £ sign as often happens! :taphead:

If this is destined to be a One Time Only this evening with a price below £63 then I'll let them off...slightly...because they've still inflated the QVC UK price imo!

i understand prices here will be slightly more expensive than the US due to various import taxes etc... but that is one hell of a mark up.

Very overpriced! Case doesn't look anything special, (had look at it on US site) looks bit like case in Philosophy TSV.

There are a few showing as available again now. Really tempting set if you love B&B. The Pink Grapefruit blush is a gorgeous shade, Champagne Spackle is something I have always wanted to try and that lippy looks a lovely colour.

I have the champagne Spackle from a TSV 2 years ago. Although the glitter is subtle it is there and not suitable for day use more of an evening out type IMHO.

Having said that I didn't buy it. Despite the OTO price that was a heck of a lot of money to spend on make up especially when I dont need brushes or mascara and don't like the eyeshadow!

No, it was an over priced item with QVC UK rubbing their hands in glee.

Beacuse they started the show about 10 minutes early and showed the OTO in detail then so when they came back to it just after 9pm it sold out in a flash!

Funnily enough, that "sold out" Train Case Set is now available in Fair, Medium & tan for the full price of £109 plus postage!!
