there is something different about this set thats why its a new item & showing as a OTO i want the can opener in green but Q dont have it & on amazon its like £14.72 + post

I was going to order the previous set a few weeks ago from Q's website,there were a lot of good reviews but over a few days it disappeared off the website along with all the reviews .I thought it was sold out or something. I was surprised to see it turn up again today and thanks to SCW for the heads up because I don't watch gadget shows much. Can't remember what the cost was but it looks the same item to me.Anyway I ordered it.My first order this year.

I think the 5 knives were a TSV if I remember .So 4 knives cost more than Five .Hmmmm. So Q can rightly say its a new item. A bit like the shrinking chocolate bars.Less for more.

I went for this as I couldn't find it cheaper anywhere, but I feel like complaining to Q.

I have the recording of Charlie saying it is the cheapest ever on air price.

Unfortunately there is no price on the link. Although the previous price is given in a previous post, there is no proof that I can show Q.

I may have mentioned this before, but it would be great if there could be a database of previous TSVs on this website.

I've rung up anonymously. They still have on record that the 5 knife set was a tsv in June for £27-96, and the oto is £2 more for one less knife.

The cs person went to check with someone then came back with the predictable excuse that it was a different item number.

But reading between the lines, I think she realised it was underhand selling. Let's say a knife is worth £5, then it amounts to a £7 difference.

I only bought it because Charlie said it was the cheapest on air price, which was not true, apart from the nonsense excuse of a different item number.

I HOPE CHARLIE READS THIS POST.

They said I could put in a formal complaint by phone or email. I'm still thinking about it.

I also bought it with the four knives so I may complain because the five were on the website 2 weeks ago and suddenly disappeared before I could order. I thought it was strange .Very crafty of Q..... It does seem underhand.
