Kochblume TSV 12/02/25

I don't need any more, I had 1 set each from 2 previous TSVs. I'm sure they were much cheaper then.

I watched the 9pm demo and was surprised they hardly mentioned the colours of the back. For example, they mentioned the lime, and didn't even turn it over to show the yellow. And some of the colours are very drab.

They are only so thick because they are 2 cloths sewn back to back.

No easy pay on the 4 cloths so I’ve gone for the TSV instead.
Hopefully the one for glass is superb.
I have a minky one for my phone etc which is very good.

I must admit I almost wobbled and gave in after I saw the tea towel and the glass cloth, but then I rethought - I've got plenty of tea towels albeit crappy ones, the Kochblume cloths I've already got are regularly used to clean glass and they do a good job. Little ones with finger pockets - nice idea but not essential so I've saved my £28 just to blow it all on Punjaban curry bases after a quick trip to the garden centre, the only place I can buy them (fairly) locally. They're £3.99 a jar and I bought one of each of the 7 varieties they had in stock!

I’ve ordered a set. I’m keen to try the large cloths (wanted a glass cloth for ages) and I regretted not getting a set for my daughter last time so will be giving her some of these.

Not only that, if you're gonna be spending £23 on pack of four, then you may as well pay an extra fiver and get all the rest. I'm still standing firm though!

Check out The Curry Sauce Company, my only source of Dhansak. I got mine onlin from Butchers Sundries, and some "prpper" butchers stock them.

Way too expensive. QVC researchers probably came across this thread, winked knowingly to each other and said, "Aha. We can charge what we like here and that lot will mop it up." (excuse pun)

I know I've just quoted myself but what I said was so important to everyone's future well-being and financial health .....
Now I'll have to think of something else to give my family alongside their birthday cards. A packet of Richard Jackson seeds? Or a sachet of Easiyo in case they ever buy the yogurt maker? Any other suggestions?
You can buy the whole kit for £15 if you look online including a sachet. I bought mine from Q when I think it was around that price. A great gift however, it's something the recipient will have to keep up with in buying the sachets so could end up a "one hit wonder". Failing that maybe a bottle of intimate wash...think I'd rather receive just a card!

The prices are very similar to Punjaban, anyway I may well give them a whirl once I've exhausted this lot. I must admit although the Punjaban curry bases are still the best I've ever tried, buying them direct is no longer as good as it used to be. They used to do special "meal deals" for a really good price, but they put a stop to that so you have to buy everything individually. The last time I bought their lime pickle I felt that the quality had diminished, the naan breads I used to buy from them, have increased in size, increased in price and decreased in quality and taste. They also stopped doing their wonderful marinades. Stockists have diminished hence having to take a trip to the garden centre. The shop opposite where I work used to stock a comprehensive range of their sauces and chutneys but they haven't stocked them for over 4 years, yet they're still listed as a stockist on their website despite me contacting them and politely letting them know - lazy and annoying!

That’s what I thought. The ones on Amazon aren’t better value and I have prime.
