They have got to shift the stock or the Elemis girls will be coming to get the remaining stock. It seems a bit superficial in the light of the latest world news. Maybe its me being miserable but I just don't get the hype.

No I don't get it either never have, it's only over priced skin care but it's funny you mention "recent events" I had a quick look before just in time to hear the Diamonbleek specialist Alison say that in light of recent events, a Diamonbleek wing pendant would give you something to watch over you, and believe in, I was so appalled that they'd play on such devastation to sell some QVC tat, not surprised I might add just disgusted, never have I been so pleased that I closed my account two years ago.

Seriously? That is in such poor taste! QVC sites in France (naturally), UK and Italy all have messages of sympathy for the dreadful events. I would be more impressed if QVC had rushed through a fundraising effort through selling an item, but just to use it as sales patter - no, definitely unacceptable.

Yes it was to try and sell it, it's almost as bad as when Debbie Flint said flood victims would feel betting wearing some slimming knickers, honestly you'd laugh if you didn't pity them so much.

I rewound it a few times to check I hadn't misheard, but no sadly I hadn't, like I say though I wasn't surprised just sad that this is what hard sell has turned into.........right back to "give it a miss" as I like to call it, never seen them do this team thing before, must be crapping themselves so they've started the TSV early giving more time to shift it.

Even my husband said that's a bit low, wasn't watching QVC just channel hoping while waiting for something to download from catch up on Sky.

Just adding May, she was totally comfortable, she wasn't prompted she come out with it all by herself, smacks of Bid tv and Mike Mason flogging those Worry Angels.

I reckon people are so ignorant in this country that perhaps the sychophants are in the majority and the enlightened few are in the minority. It woukd need to be the reverse in order to encourage QVC to mend it's ways.

Exploiting tragedy to boost sales is never acceptable, in my view. If this had been going out on QVC in France I think that would be hugely detrimental to QVC's fledgling business in France.

The only possible acceptable reason to link the two would be if a fund-raising appeal had been announced and part of the amount you spend on the item was a donation to raise funds for that.

Instead of wearing the ****** stupid team orchid/frangipani rosettes maybe they should be wearing a badge of the French tricolour! Probably too political for QVC. Amazon had a photo of the French flag on their home page and the word "solidarite'." I am very disappointed in QVC UK to be honest.
