Apparently a former Gemporia presenter, Victoria Norris, has come back to be a host. She is a bit too hyper for me. What are your thoughts?
 
I dont know if its Gemporia’s cameras but Jess Absolutely, Hattie and now Victoria Norris all look as if their heads are too bit for their bodies. Just like the football big head figurines.

Yes, I do remember Victoria Norris still shouty. I suppose it’s handy for shouting at her kids though.
 
Anyone know who the old lady is that’s on with VN selling Mandarin garnet? Don’t think vet seen her before.
 
I did purchase some items at the £20 show. Heck the screeching was horrible. The drama was off the scale. Turned the volume down. Purchased so I'm going to guess the show was a success.

There’s now another one I’ve not seen before on with Toby Jugg. Sorry this is bitchy but with those teeth reminds me of a horse. Now the girlie that’s just been on Hobbymaker has just appeared. Maybe it’s her mum?
 
I was also just wondering who this is on with Toby at the moment, I am not sure I recognise her.

You mean Lollipop heads, I think :). Blimey, Victoria Norris, I detect a note (or two) of desperation if she's back. Gemporia is a bit like a horror film - just wait a while and a ghost from the past will be conjured up on your screen.👻

Knowing Gemporia, it'll be a ghost of Vicky Carr. The ultimate horror story.

I'd prefer it to be a ghost of someone decent like Scott Worsfold, Rae Carpenter, Lara de-Leuw, etc.

Yes, she is. Granted, they have their off moments but, in the main I don't have an issue with the Cavills. They don't need Gemporia for sure, unlike David & Harry Jewels and, I'd venture to say, Primal or the new Menomy brand.

I've not seen enough of Debbie to form an opinion, but Cherry always looks like she's angry and aggressive. I thought she was about to punch Toby in the face while he was talking the other day, based on the look on her face.

I quite like Toby though (even though he's starting to go down the slippery slope of making more and more dubious claims a bit more often now - something he once seemed to distance himself away from). I think he's the least shystery amongst a channel full of shysters. He does have a personality and a sense of humour too. He's not full of himself, like Dave and Jake. I would imagine that, outside of work, he's a genuinely nice guy to go down the pub to have a drink with.

I really hope Toby doesn't start going further down the dubious claims route though because he is the one guy out of the three so-called gem experts that does have some credibility. He does have a genuine background in gems, particularly Rubies and Sapphires. Unlike Troth, who seems to suddenly become an expert in whatever he's been offered to flog by the Chinese. When Charlie Barron was around, Dave was never put of air to talk about Pearls - but now Charlie Barron has gone, they can't wheel Dave out quickly enough to share his 'expertise' in Pearls with us. If Kati Elliott had to take 2 months off work, I have visions of Troth suddenly being wheeled to tell us he's a mascara and lipstick expert............

As for Jake, the least said the better. If he told me the sky is blue, I'd have to go outside to check because I wouldn't believe him.

I didn't see that, but saw her 'closer' of the hour in handover to Lindsey. She said he went off and sulked (pointing to a point in the studio where he 'sat down'?) coz she 'took over' his presentation and he didn't like it.
