Julian Ballantyne is back

Just saw Julian advertising a garden show on Sunday, first time l have seen him in ages, this must be his new home. He may have been on IW for a while but l have not noticed. Always found him a good presenter on QVC.

I saw him a while ago, when he'd left QVC and was on another channel, perhaps IW2, and was saying how happy he was, a new challenge, etc.
Then he disappeared within a week!

I liked him too on Q. Was disappointed when he left or was pushed, don't remember now. He always mentioned his granny.

I've told this story before, but a rather miffed Tim Goodwin (an excellent technology preseenter) had to stand in for Julian when he didn't turn up for his shift because they said he was ill.

Tim said on live TV that he was "ill as a newt". That was the end of Tim on QVC but Julian continued, he must have been higher up the pecking order.

Tim Goodwin was excellent, gave you all the ins and outs of what he was selling And he never phoned his mum on air.

I only watch QVC in passing if they're doing a technology product. Then I laugh at the price.

He did the odd stint on TJC a couple of years back , he now lives in France I believe.
