Jenny Blackhurst 😯

I don’t like the hot weather but I do like it slightly warmer than 15 degrees. Wet, windy and thunderstorms down here on the south coast. I am wearing some of my lighter weight clothes but with thick winter cardis on top.
I'm South coast too in Brighton, where are you if you don't mind me asking?

Another back street laboratory concocting a formulae that's she's putting her name to - shades of Abbi Cleeve here. Mark my words there'll be the Jenny Blackhurst Collection appearing before long. ( If her eyes get stretched any further she'll be looking like Jocelyn Wilderstein - cat woman ).
Does Abbi Cleeve work for other companies (I know Ultrasun have bought SBC recently). I always get the impression she's a scientist - or am I misinterpreting?

She's sometimes shown wearing a white lab coat, looking into a test tube. This gives the impression that she is a scientist. I think it's misleading. She's the owner of Ultrasun.

Had to switch off the Denim & Co. TSV Come back Glen Campbell.
Yes, good old Glen would have said "You can see straight away that this will really work for you. You can wear it with little pumps". Don't know about anybody else, but I've never owned pumps, little or otherwise.

So many of the BA's and presenters fib about their size. "I could go down a size." Julia, Carla, Alex, and others. Why? Who are they kidding?
If they could go down a size, why don't they? One of those mentioned could go down TWO sizes, and often does, looking ridiculous in the process. Ooh, I feel a catty day coming on.

Like "catty". It makes me laugh. I forgot to add Ruth and Jenny.

To me, pumps are those black plimsolls we used to wear at school for PE and games.
Maybe Glen is using the American word 'pump' that, for us, is a court shoe. I don't usually watch when Glen is on because he repeats the same words over and over again, he talks too fast, and he has adenoids. Not a pleasant, relaxed experience for me. Alex is also a turn off for me. Her false 'laugh' covers most of what she says, which is never funny.

Thank you for the definition. So perhaps I have owned Pumps in the past, but they definitely wouldn't have been Little.

They put the models out in the wrong size. There was a model on the other day that was super thin and everything was huge on her. They tried to sort it with belts but everything was hanging on her, think it was Kim & Co. Then you get Julia who squashes into a size 12 and also looks awful. Wear the bliddy right size FGS.

The famous white coat syndrome. Judith Williams has videos of her wearing one.

Someone wears a white coat, they know what they are talking about and experts.

It goes back to the early 70s, when Estée Lauder launched Clinique. Get the counter staff to wear white coats, and customers will believe every thing they say about the brand. I read this in a bio of Estée Lauder. Other companies have since also done this.

I hadn’t really thought about that but they do still wear white coats on the Clinique counters, don’t they?

Reminds me of a lady I used to work with always said she was a size 12 but always cut the size labels out of all her clothes. She was very vain and probably at least a size 14.
