James Russell's impressing me lately

I dont think he has become saintly!! he is simply covering his back by being more transparent with the costs etc.

But unlike some he's explaining the extra costs, not just chucking in a quick "plus postage" in a speeded-up voice as an afterthought.

Or not at all like a certain Mr Simon I could describe.

He's also cut down on the scaremongering that a certain other presenter relies upon to get sales, too.

Why? Who wouldn't want an owl lamp that looks like it's off it's bosoms on crack and Red Bull?

Ha Ha. Full marks to James, he was reallly honest and admitted it was an unusual item!

He had a lot left.

I love his suits and his overall look is nice. He has a very calm mannerism which I also quite like and he can be quite funny, but he's too slimy and smarmy for me. He claims to own just about every product he sells - I don't believe him for a second!

I like Andy the best! There's no bull and he's funny.

Quite like Sally, too!

Andy is the best. I'm wanting James to be like him, honest and good.

Andy is head and shoulders the best presenter on Sit Up. James is definitely getting better.

I sometimes think about many of the other male presenters and wonder how on earth they got the gig, I can only assume the wages are not comparable to other shopping channels. I mean, can you honestly imagine guys like Justin Hazell, Chris Birkett, Paul Evers, Mike Mason and of course Peter Simon getting anywhere near another TV studio?

Not unless Crimewatch starts doing in-studio line-ups. :smirk:

I don't wish them any bad luck or anything but they are simply terrible. I genuinely hope they find work doing other things and have good careers but come on, how the ****** hell did that lot end up in front of a camera?

I really don't think they are earning a fortune, but then for what they have to do? sell their souls! I don't know quite why James is always in such formal attire! I mean the vest buttoned up under the suit, starched shirt, Tie pin, and cufflinks! where is he going after work?

First shift at the Bingo Hall, to call the numbers. I believe that at the weekend he dons a gold lurex jacket to celebrate the Bongo Bonus hour
