My favourite part of that clip is that he inadvertently reveals that they bulldog clip the back of the clothes to make them seem more flattering and then drops it twice each time it clattering down making it even more obvious. :tongue:

Funny also to compare the crews laughter here to the 'laughter' Peter Simon's introductions get :cheeky:
 
Andy just sold the Yarvik. Strangely he gave a thorough, and accurate description, of exactly what the preloaded Mobisoft OfficeSuite free software actually is.

Take note James Russell, your description of it yesterday was a complete and utter load of codswallop and I have no doubt the ASA would come to that conclusion as well.

Russell took barely 2 minutes to come out with his first pack of lies/make his first 'mistake'. He said the Samsung Smart TV comes with access to 4OD. It dosen't.

I know he has a fondness of saying things like 'hand on heart' or 'i'll be honest with you' but does it make all his claims true? No. And he just made the same claim again.

I noticed he has a 'Nautical Time' watch on today which he happens to be selling later. I wonder what happened to his Tag Heuer?

Maybe he pawned it :grin:

I noticed in a break he put his Tag Heuer back once he'd finished flogging the Nautical Time crap.

I bet he couldn't do it quick enough!
 
He looked incredibly smart last night. I like his new hairstyle. It makes him look cleaner and more polished. Even though he was wearing a three piece cheapo suit that was coming up, he made it look very nice. He has to be the best turned out presenter by far :up:

Yes Momma I must agree, James always looks very smart.

I heard a rumour that Justin Hazell is Bid's stylist, he specialises in making a small wardrobe go a long way.
 
TBH, to me, he still looks as if he should be selling black market theatre tickets in the Westend... Sidling up to you in the queue, constantly on the lookout for an approaching copper, nudges you and tries to do a deal
 
Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't trust him as far as I could throw him. He just happens to be turned out better than the others, for example Steve McDonald who is often incredibly scruffy, his bitten to the quick piggy fingernails look horrible when he is doing close ups. He reminds me of a door to door Utility salesman.

But as much as I acknowledge James making an effort with his appearance i'd much prefer him to make more of an effort with the accuracy of his pitches. Still, we can help him with that.

Steve McDonald is younger than my daughter but looks 10 years older. I too have noticed his finger nails, bitten to that extent is always a sign of insecurity. Is he still married to that strange looking woman?

How old is he? i'd guess at 35. Mind you i'm rubbish at ages, I would have easily thought Mike Mason was around 50.
 
I dont seem to be able to catch James lateley. When is my favourite bid presenter on? does he still do mainly late evening slots? I guess he has to do evening, as it takes all day to press the suit and make sure that tie pin is just so, so! Im not sure why he dresses quite so formally but its lovely to see. Not many men do a three piece suit with tie pins to present what a best, is tat on many occasions.

I haven't forgotten him saying about 'peddling tat to the public' but he's definitely changed for the better.
He's being compliant (unlike one certain revolting presenter!) and he's lost some of his cynicism, I think James has grown up (probably coz he's about to become a dad)
And he is totally the best dressed and best groomed presenter on the channels.
 
He looks dapper but he must stick out like a sore thumb. I know of no other guest or presenter that has such a formal attire. How many of the studio workers have a tie pin? I think its a bit over the top formal for the job. He is handsome, I like him but know I shouldnt, its a very guilty crush I can only confess to here. I think my dad would say, you can do better son, only in as much as he isnt the most intelligent.

I hope so because he has great potential. I hope I don't see any more cringey muckiness from him.

He is immaculate and I could listen to his voice all day.

I find it interesting you say you could listen to him all day. I dont like the wide boy/Essex boy voice but I could look at him all day for sure.

I like his voice and he's spectacular looking. He must be awesome in the flesh with him being so tall.

I wouldn't touch him though, so don't worry :giggle:
