Thank you DD - that was driving me mad trying to remember. Yes, I like Jan - I get the impression she doesn't put up with much crap, and she knows her stuff.

The lady that does the gold jewellery on QVC with the large grey streak in her hair looks really sophisticated and edgy IMO. Need more confidence than me to carry that look off though perhaps but in another 10 years perhaps it's a look I'd try to rock.

Yes she looks good and can carry it off .She has lovely thick wavy hair.Mine is straight and fine and looks like rats tails with grey. The colour gives it a bit of body and shape. can't quite bring myself to go Judi Denck look ,I don't have the bone structure .....

So did we find out if she's grown her hair or these are extensions? I don't think they look good at all.

I reckon the side bits are attached to a head band rather like those ear-phone style ear-muffs (sorry about all the ears !). She probably takes off the headband when she gets home and hangs it on a coat hook in the porch, ready for her next shift.
