Do any of you Elemis users know if the Elemis moisture creams should have a foil seal?

A few days ago, I ordered the 'Vital Skincare' package. It was on easy pay with free P&P, so I couldn't resist  The cleanser and toner bottles are okay. But when I opened the moisture cream there was no foil seal, and when I held the tube up to the daylight it was only a third full. So I'm now wondering if someone else had it before me, and I've got a used, returned, moisture cream

I'm not sure but I don't think the elemis tubes have a foil seal; and quite often they look half empty. I'm sure they have the full ml for ml contents, cos they wouldn't diddle us would they?

Thanks Akimbo.

I noticed that Decleor and Liz Earl always have the foil seal, so assumed that Elemis would have too.

Hello

Elemis tubes don't have foil seals.

Lots of tubes look half empty, decleor ones do when new and they are sealed.

The way to tell is to weigh it.

If its a 15ml tube for example it'll probably weigh around 23-25gs ish (allowing for the weight of the tube) so although the tube look half full I'm sure you are getting the mls of product you purchased :)

No foil on the tubes never has been.

Its like a bag of crisps it sometimes says the weight is correct but due to settling the contents may be at the bottle or words to that effect.

So they use bigger tubes to make it look like you get more! Actually, I've always been surprised that such a "presteeeeeeegious" brand doesn't have proper security seals. Do they consider it beneath them as that's what supermarket brands have to do? :) That's why I like Prai and Philosophy - the stuff is like Fort Knox to get into so you know it's never been tampered with.

I see some brands in Boots which are unsealed and often people are opening them up and prodding at the stuff. Ewww.
