If you have epilepsy and have recorded todays love show practical presents .. don’t watch the torch presentation.. the woman presenting it kept flashing it and this should never ever happen without a warning first 🤦🏻‍♀️ I’m fuming . For personal reasons in family I am very aware of this.
Theatres always warn audiences and so do news articles with flash photography.
Micael is the one presenting and it’s item 721989 Bell and Howell ..
just so you know

I am so sorry to hear this Donna 😢
I had not watched the beginning of the presentation so I’m not sure if a warning so therefore a ticker or note should have been put in corner ..
This is also very close to home for me

Our council put flashing Xmas lights on the outside of our building which is very annoying for 2 solid hours every day coming through the 4 windows I did object to our boss saying that if anyone suffered from epilepsy it would be very dangerous but needless to say I might as well have peed in the wind.
That’s a health and safety issue surely ? …
He has to address that .. and can cause migraines

We used to get pre-dressed and lit trees installed in the office. Invariably they would have the lights set to the "disco Dave" setting. I immediately get at the selector and put it to either slow fade or static... or switch the lights off. I've been prone to migraines in the past, and to this day cannot watch flickering or high speed flashing lights.

That’s horrible.. hubby the same with migraine triggers too. Our lights are static x

Gives me a migraine but I was told by a specialist that migraines are in the same part of the brain that causes epilepsy.
Those awful strip lights caused me no end of migraines.
I’m sorry to hear that Patsy .. whenever a strip light In a shop hubbys eyes can go after that Zz and next day laid up

I suffer from migraines and lighting seems to be a trigger, particularly flickering light bulbs. On the plus side any light issues at work get dealt with quickly as my colleagues always mention me and my migraines. Employer takes stuff like this seriously (and they want to avoid a lawsuit)🤣

I should think so too !
They’ve just done another presentation and the lady warned of flashing images and said “ it won’t be of me though ……” and Julia laughed .. that’s all very well but it should be shown as a notice on the screen because anybody could have turned over and not heard the announcement.
