Have just looked at the TV guide for tonight and yet again the odius omnipresent Mr. Yuk (one charlie brook who else) is doing fashion. This time Birkenstock. I like birkies, have several pairs but definitely will not be watching at 7. I saw him briefly the other day with Kim Meddlesom doing her "fashion" range. why oh why do QVC keep putting him on doing fashion.

Worst nightmare scenario.......... him and Glen "city shorts" Campbell on together.

Next thing you know he will be doing ****** beauty shows!

He has done beauty shows fredab! Sure I've seen him present many beauty shows. I don't mind Charlie although he can be a bit sickly sometimes.:puke:

I must admit I have thankfully never seen him do beauty shows and hopefully never will!

Why is he the only male presenter that does shows purely for females.

I think it is because he considers himself a bit of an 'expert' on 'female' subjects, such as fashion, beauty, jewellery etc.! Something to do with the fact that he was/is close to his 2 (or 3) sisters and of course he has a young daughter who he seems to enjoy choosing and buying things for. I think it's rather sweet, to be honest!! Although he does go a bit overboard sometimes and even I think he's gone a bit too far sometimes - even though I'm quite soppy, myself! I guess he is the only male presenter who might feel comfortable with presenting 'female' things. I'm sure I've seen him present women's underwear!! Is it 'Breezies' underwear?

Maybe it is QVC's way of showing that they aren't sexist in anyway and are 'moving with the times'!!

I think it was a Spanx show he did, or that other show with women in shapewear. I found it excruciating, and horribly creepy. It probably seems less bad in the studio, because the models are surrounded by male cameraman and floor managers anyway, out of camera shot, but to the viewer, seeing Charlie looking at a model in underwear and commenting on intimate garments was just creepy. Never again, please!

I think Charlie ends up doing these things because there's no one else available. The female presenters always seem to be off doing other things. I had to laugh when he did that shapewear show though. The guest on there decided she would just whip her top off in front of him and get her threpenny bits out to demonstrate. He really didn't know where to look and was totally embarrassed. This was one of the first "fashion" type shows he did. I guess it didn't put him off. And he's got to be better than JF! (seeing her as part of the two matchsticks on the TSV last night was bad enough.)

I have a feeling that everyone else is off on their hols at the mo, leaving Charlie to present everything! I would LOVE him to present that vaginal muscle tightening thing they've had on in the past! Now that would be a show worth taping!!

What???? Do you mean that thing you sit on (or rather perch on) and you go up and down on it? It looks like an exercise bike without the handles if I remember. Or have I missed something else 'interesting'??

No, they had a section on embarrassing feminine problems and they had a thing like a vibrator that (I think) was supposed to tighten down below!! Please tell me .... someone else watched that one too?!?!? Gulp!

Good grief, just thought... did the 30 day money back guarantee apply to that item too?!?! Gulp!

Blimey, just remembered Chuntley was saying something about herself being loser after childbirth and it had helped!! Thanks for that Chuntley, feel free to announce your saggy wotsits to the viewing public!!

You're kidding me!!! 30 day money back guarantee - ugh - doesn't bear thinking about.:mysmilie_468: I can't believe they'd sell something like that on QVC. I wonder if they clean/sterilise the 'returns' - like they do with earrings - and put them back into stock!! I'll have to have a look and see if I can find it - not to buy one, you understand!! Just curious - I can't believe it.

It was a while back and I'm not sure what the name of it is but have fun searching... purely in the name of research of course!!
