Hotel Chocolat TSV 22/07/23

Cadburys and Lindt for me although I'd be willing to try Hotel Chocolat. I don't think they ship out of UK, though, so it won't happen. Plus, I could never justify such a big box for one person.

Yes Lindt ! Our local centre has the Lindt shop .. can you imagine ?

And probably be after their best before date by then.

Apparently the TSV will be alright as the “eat by” date is January 2024. I don’t like Hotel Chocolat but, if I did, they’d be gone by Boxing Day if not earlier. With boxes of chocolates I’m alright until the cellophane come off the box but after that it’s a case of “get rid of them” quickly.

I switched over and caught a Hotel Chocolat presentation. They were playing a video showing Kiri (?) working in the inventions room at the factory and she was making chocolates. Just like when she’s appeared on QVC tempering chocolate, no hair net was being worn.

I don’t work in the food industry but I would have assumed that anyone preparing food, chocolates or whatever should have their hair covered especially when it’s long.

You’d need hair covering etc in the factory when producing/packing.
Can get away without in “invention /test kitchen I imagine, because they’re just trying new things, the results won’t be going anywhere
