I don't think there are normally two TSVs before Christmas anymore so don't count on there being one next month. It hasn't happened for a few years now.

When asked by Debbie Flint if they'll be another TSV before Christmas, Marissa said "ooer no" and then Debbie added "not like this anyway" so will have to watch this space....

Lindt choc made me billious the other week and now I can’t touch the stuff .. I only like Cadbury .. however as a gift I love any chocs as that is special and chosen with love

I wish Aldi did home deliveries as I love their Moser Roth chocolate. Especially if they have the sour cherry one. I do like Tescos Finest 75% Ecuador chocolate though.

A friend always gets boxes of Lindt and Thorntions for Xmas. Then tries to force-feed me. Oh, have another couple, NO! Two, and I feel sick.

I've gone right of chocolate in the last few years. I blame/thank the menopause (!!). Very rarely buy it anymore other than an occasional Bounty bar.
However, it's not all good as I've headed in the direction of fruit pastilles instead.

There's bound to be something in QVC's Menopause range that you can take or rub on that will help reverse your aversion to chocolate.

Perfect set for me and I have just ordered as the two large boxes are Christmas presents, the small selection box a treat for my Mum and the white Reindeers a treat for me.

The large box is £29.95 on the HC website.

I thought that when I saw what it was as I've treated myself to some the last few years and used bits as presents, but they've changed the contents 'for Christmas' and a few favourites had gone and some I'm not keen on added, and then the reindeers were which and not milk chocolate so I resisted.

Hotel Chocolate wreath £80 for a kilo. Rather have the ginormous Toblerone that’s £81 for a 4.5kilo bar. I have to be quite honest that I find Hotel Chocolate rather sickly, although I do like their dark chocolate slabs.

Toblerone any day for me.

Hi All - did anyone order this? I ordered at 3pm last Saturday (before "official" TSV launch) and my order is still saying "in process". I know it's coming direct and is 7-10 days but wondering if any have been despatched at all - I'm a bit nervous as I ordered two of the last fruity tsvs and only one arrived., Part of this was to be included for a present next week and I know I'm a fool for thinking this one would run smoothly

I wouldn't panic too much about the order still stating 'in process' just yet Mollie. In my experience with Q, if something is coming directly from their supplier it can still be showing as 'in process' for weeks after you've actually had the goods.

My order has just been delivered by the Royal Mail. I only received an order confirmation e-mail and my order is still showing as In Progress on the QVC website.

Jill Franks is presenting and is intolerable. She loves everything and the rest of the time talking absolute garbage. I wanted to watch the presentation but couldn’t stand it any longer.

Did JF actually try any of it? I’m sure she used to stand back and let everyone else sample anything edible. I hate it when you can hear them chomping or they talk with their mouths full. We all know no-one presenting foodstuffs on air is gong to say they dislike it anyway so I just avoid the shows.

I am not keen on HC either - too waxy in texture. I received a marbled slab in a hamper once and was completely underwhelmed. It had a plastic taste to me. To be fair, I haven’t tried much of it and not for years.

I think she did, but only the white chocolate as she was going on how much she loves it. Felt sorry for the lady, Marissa at points and how they've know each other for 30 years according to Jill!

A lot of chocolate producers use wax in their chocolates. In spite of all their bragging about how high end HC is, I very much doubt it is in sold in Harrod's food Hall where they display all the best chocolate brands.

I’ve got my big Toblerone for Christmas. Before anyone asks, no it’s not the 4.5kilo one. I might treat myself to a pack of Lindt Truffles with my Tesco Points.
