Help with Lock & Lock again please?!

The normal ones do stain, I have not tried the polycarbonate set.

they say they don't stain, but I have a few that have gone yellow with curry and red with tomato stain, when I have put them in the microwave it has also made a stain and a rough mark

They are particularly prone to staining and etching when you heat food that has a high fat content eg spag bol sauce.
I seem to recall that Malcolm did admit this when he was presenting the the new polycarbonate oness- it's not mentioned otherwise for obvious reasons!

My Lock & Lock has not had heavy use, however:

The polycarbonate has had baked beans and something else stainy microwaved it it, and has survived unscathed.

The non-polycarbonate - I stored chicken casserole in it in the fridge, and have found it difficult to get the oily feeling off despite washing with hot-hot water and Fairy. Must try again.
