Sorry you feel that way, miss Elvis; I have only seen him teasing the crew in a light-hearted fashion, and never saw it as John being nasty. For instance, telling them how scruffy they are .... and, well, have you seen them? That's fair comment in my book to tease them for turning up at work looking like they've just come in from digging the garden ......

I like his cheery banter, he's got personality.... sadly lacking in many on our screens!

Whilst you are entitled to your opinion, I think it's a bit off to say the least that you have posted this in a thread which was started to wish John a Happy Birthday! Very mean! Perhaps the Moderators will move it elsewhere?

Dear Klosblue, Mathilda, SuperCoolwillow, PlasmaNoodle, Jacqualina, Rebeccab, Ballerina Sacha, Miss Magpie and Flossie

Thank you so much for my birthday wishes. I had such a fabulous time lying in the sun in Spain sipping chilled champagne by the pool..it was a real treat.
Just got home from my first shift back and I am shattered and don't feel I have even been away! But thank you I was really touched by your messages.

As for MissElvis777.
Obviously everyone is entitled to their say. There are 7 of us presenters at R and C and we dont for one minute think that everyone can love each and every one of us. We all have our own individual ways of presenting and I am sure Miss Elvis 777 will find another presenter or 2 that she will enjoy watching.

As for me treating my crew like dirt this is where I do have to make comment.
I adore, respect and admire each and every one of them.
Without them there would be no show.
Without them there would be no me.
They are a team made up of highly professional and hard working people and I for one would hate it if any of them were offended or upset by how I treat them!
