Sorry but it looks awful with the zips open and the short front. It wouldn't look out of place in Primani.

Not really my sort of thing .Pastels I'm not keen on.

I was recently watching a documentary about the American designers of the 70s who influenced the French away from Haute Couture into more easy to wear clothing.
One of them was Halston. Interestingly he sold his name and rights in the mid 70s.

I got the Moto jacket TSV and loved it so I scooped up another couple of colours from fleabay. I have a few other tops from Halston bought from last clicks and the quality has been excellent so I've ordered one of the TSV to have a look at, plus a couple on waitlist in case I really like it which I'll cancel if it's a lemon.

The TSV reminds me of the optical illusion you get from the forward tilted side seams of the MarlaWynne butterfly tops which are v flattering. I would have preferred a lower V but I'm sure it'll be fine. Any minus points and I'll send it back under the CC regs (DSR) and only lose my <3 quid return postage.

you wont even lose your post costs under dsr i have a lot of halston items some a couple of yeas old and still look as good as new. dont like everything in the range but love the baby terry items they are soft and well made.

I nearly didn't order the jacket TSV because the word "terry" made me think of terry towelling, whereas it's actually heavy sweatshirt material. I wouldn't go for a short jacket but as a busty 14 I ordered the size 18 so that there wouldn't be any pulling if I fasten it over my bust or ever-increasing waistline/tummy (curse the menopause!). Most of the time I wear it open, and it looks better than a woolly cardi imo.

I debated ordering the M or L in today's TSV but went for Medium in the end, deciding I didn't want an over-sized look as I'm short, I'll report back when it arrives.

i got the tsv in the black and some joggers in the sale from the same range...needed a bit of cheering up.

just got the tsv and some joggers loos like areal set. beautiful feel soft cotton rich and a nice deep expensive looking black. all hanging up to try on later no creases even though they come in those awful blue bags

I've fully road-tested the one I ordered - black in size Medium. I've worn it a lot and it washes and dries well (no shrinkage or stretching out of shape) so I've very pleased with it. I don't open the zips at the hem so it does have the effect of the Marla Wynne butterfly tops with their front tilting side seams. I was very close to ordeing the Large but relieved that the M fits without pulling across my bust (d-e cup so I often size up from a 14 to a 16 in tops). I'll keep an eye on ebay for bargain priced other colours.

Agree with Boffy - it's a true black which hasn't faded with washing.
