Could be a faulty catch. Mine is definitely not loose. I have to push hard to attach it and pull and twist to get it off.

Mine comes off with just a bad look! I persevered and did the rest of the stairs, but my hand was also killing at the end of it, and I had to 'scrub' hard to pick up the cat hairs. I do the stairs every other day with the Air ram, so they weren't bad by any stretch of the imagination. I am not overly impressed to be honest so I called QCS and they're arranging a collection. Am really disappointed. I love my Air ram but I could really do with a small, powerful thing to get the cat hairs out of the crevices on the stairs. Back to the brush by the looks of it :-(
