The contents are similar but not identical to the introductory kit they did which was very well received (and also no p&p like this one)...

I know everyone raves about this product but will someone explain to me how it doesn't work like sandpaper?

If your car is dirty are you not rubbing grit all over the paintwork?

I've really no idea how it works LATI, but it does. It doesn't cause any scratches.

The big negative for me is the terrible spray nozzle on it. It doesn't project the spray outwards, it tends to dribble down, so so much ends up on the ground instead of on the car. That really needs sorting.

Can't remember if it's poundland or 99p shop but they sell a similar product and range. Can't remember the name of it and It is currently in the boot of my Taxi so will have a look next time I get it out. But it's in a black squirty bottle it's great stuff and a bargain at a £.

Be VERY careful with the Astonish car cleaner. I was going to buy a set of loads of their products from Amazon, however a number of reviews stated that the cleaner took the paint off their car. Don't know what the hell is in it but I wouldn't want that. Normally I am a big fan of Astonish products. I have used their coconut handwash for about 10 years now, and today I used their "anti-fog" window cleaner on the inside of one of my cars. Their back to black spray is a total waste of time. If you really want a decent cleaner for your car, Asda do a product called "Shake & Shine" for £8 for a litre. Very similar product too Showroom Shine. I use Showroom Shine, Lovely Leather, Crystal Clear,Bug Buster and Dash Devil and they are all excellent. Some of the Astonish products don't quite cut the mustard. I'm going to try their wheel cleaner though.

I bought 3 litres of the Williams waterless car cleaner for 18.99 incl postage when it was pick of the day last week. It was a bug buster product that I was after. I will be careful with what I buy now that you have drawn my attention to the issue of the paint being stripped off the car.

Myself and a number of others are constantly using astonish and no one has ever complain about taking the paint off. Might be a certain type of paint work. I also have advertising stickers and it works over them fine. No discolouring or damage in fact the sun and rain do more damage.

Glad to hear it. I like Astonish products. They are generally excellent value, too. It might be a good idea to patch test, in a similar way to when one first uses a new skin product.
